UNH Spaulding Hall
Laboratory Design & Renovation
Durham, New Hampshire
Constructed in the late 1950s, Spaulding Hall is the home to the University of New Hampshire’s life sciences department. In order to accommodate new laboratory teaching functions for life sciences, the University prioritized the modernization of some of the school’s busiest labs. The Turner Group along with our electrical engineering sub-consultant, BLW Engineers, were selected for the renovation of three labs that set the standard for the remaining renovations in the building.
The renovations include new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services, as well as new DDC control systems and casework. The space was reconfigured in order to maximize efficiency.
