Senior Civil/Site Engineer

The H.L. Turner Group Inc. is offering an exciting career opportunity for an innovative, senior level engineer with strong technical, project management, and client relationship experience to join the firm’s expanding civil group. Candidate will develop civil designs, as well as plan, coordinate, direct, and supervise design teams for site development projects and for hydroelectric facilities – public and private. Strong communication skills are required. This is a leadership position with the opportunity to be part of the firm’s Ownership Team.  

 Qualifications

  • 9 years or more of design experience and a BS in Civil Engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineer
  • Lead the design, management, and growth of our civil engineering department
  • Ability to coordinate with design team, clients, and local/state/federal agencies
  • Strong design skills and reputation in the Northeast market for site/civil engineering on land development and utility design services
  • Occasional travel and site visits are required

Senior Hydropower Engineer

The H.L. Turner Group Inc. is offering an exciting career opportunity for an innovative, senior level engineer with strong technical, project management, and client relationship experience to join the firm’s hydropower group. Candidate will develop heavy civil designs, as well as plan, coordinate, direct, and supervise design teams for hydroelectric facilities  – public and private. Strong communication skills are required. This is a leadership position with the opportunity to be part of the firm’s Ownership Team.  

 Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of design experience and a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineer
  • Lead the design, management, and growth of our hydropower engineering department
  • Ability to coordinate with design team, clients, and local/state/federal agencies
  • Strong design skills and reputation in the hydroelectric power market for dams and hydropower services
  • Familiarity with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) processes and other federal, state, and municipal permitting requirements
  • Approved by the FERC as an Independent Consultant to perform safety inspections on dams and hydroelectric power facilities
  • Occasional site visits and travel are required

 

 


Marketing Manager

The H.L. Turner Group Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to take on the role of marketing for our organization. This is an opportunity for an individual with integrity and creativity, who values a collaborative work environment, and is looking to make a long-term career decision with great opportunities for continued advancement. The individual will be based in our Concord, NH headquarters.

Our ideal candidate will be in the forefront of marketing and business development efforts, be self-motivated, and able to problem solve independently. The individual must also possess the ability to work well in a team-oriented, small office environment, while meeting tight deadlines.  

 Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • Graphic design, website, email marketing, and social media abilities
  • Proficiency with full Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working within the marketing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be highly organized, able to multi-task, and detailed oriented
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Basic understanding of A/E/C terminology and procedures highly beneficial
  • Experience with Google Suite a plus
  • Experience with Constant Contact or a similar email marketing platform a plus

Responsibilities

  • Produce qualifications packages and proposal submissions
  • Construct resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, advertising, press releases, and presentations
  • Design and build print collateral
  • Produce quarterly e-newsletters for various segments within our organization
  • Coordinate the production of print materials with support personnel
  • Represent the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associations, plus trade shows and industry events
  • Website editing and modification, as well as maintaining social media platforms
