The driving force behind this Capital Improvements Plan was the need to accommodate the growing student population, to renovate the aging facilities, and to improve the quality of the learning environment.

Planning goals included creating a new middle school, integrating the schools into the fabric of the community; building designs that promoted a progressive learning environment, and a flexible design that would meet the District’s needs for the next 15 - 20 years.
