Priming Facility

The Turner Group was retained by Coastal Forest Products to complete the site and building design for a 75,000 square foot addition to their existing Quality Wood Priming Facility in Bow, New Hampshire.  Plans were developed to maximize the size of the building on-site and to minimize the number of times the material was handled.  The existing building, which housed all of the priming and painting equipment used by Coastal, was fully operational during construction.  The Turner Group worked closely with the owner and contractor to assemble a team of subcontractors that would deliver a quality project on time.

The site permitting and design had many challenges which included wetlands on three sides of the building and a large slope on the fourth side that required the negotiation of a slope easement with the abutter.
