A world leader in custom printed circuit board / backplane manufacturing, Teradyne, Inc. also required architectural and engineering services for a 15,000 SF, Class 10,000 cleanroom, new offices, conference rooms, full service kitchen and cafeteria, manufacturing areas such as plating lines, imaging, developing, etching, drill, routing, lamination, labs / QC, large tank farm pits, multiple slab trenches, penthouse, wastewater treatment, a chilled water plant, shipping / receiving, three 2,000 amp electrical services, flooring upgrades, ADA improvements, passenger elevator, freight elevator, handicap accessible man-lift, and many other facility upgrades.
The final 94,000 SF addition is now the main entrance to the entire facility, which boasts a well defined aluminized “barrel” facade and vestibule, true frameless doors, high profile ceramic tiled lobby, curved security desk, and a vaulted and curved lobby ceiling. A portion of this addition was designed for the easy addition of a future second story.
